Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Beach
A helicopter hovering over a popular southern California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling out of control, eventually dropping height and smashing into a row of palm groves as spectators watched.
Recordings uploaded on the internet depict the helicopter beginning to twirl above Huntington Beach then falling towards the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters said five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on that day.
Three persons on the street were hurt. Information on their injuries were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.

The department indicated the chopper was linked to an regular “Cars with Copters” charity gathering planned for the next day.
